The opposition entity, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has criticized the Government of Kosovo, as it said, for not reacting to the statements of the Serbian Minister of Interior, Aleksandar Vullin.
Last week, Vullin declared that the Recak massacre was “a big lie and an extraordinary fabrication.”
“Alexander Vullin said that Recak is a fictitious event. Not that he is not expected to do so, but it is strange that there was no reaction from this Government. The US reacted, the European Union reacted. What were the reactions from Kosovo in relation to this statement? It is shameful that we come out with such a weak reaction, I am not talking like the Government, but like Kosovo and society… “, said the PDK MP, Adrian Kastrati during the plenary session that is being held on Monday.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, who was present at the plenary session, did not respond to this statement of MP Kastrati. His cabinet has not even responded to questions about the issue that Radio Free Europe sent to him on Friday, December 10th.
Meanwhile, the Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca said that the state of Kosovo reacts through lawsuits against people who deny such massacres.
“Do not degrade the dignity of suffering and sacrifice to the people of Kosovo,” said Konjufca.
