The services of the Pogradec Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the structures for the Investigation of Crimes in DVP Korça and the Border Police, following the police operation codenamed “Perimeter”, have hit another case of criminal activity of providing assistance to foreign citizens, for Illegal border crossing, in exchange for the reward, as a result of which the citizens KP, 22 years old, resident in Maliq and MI, 24 years old, resident in Korça, were arrested in flagrante delicto.
The police services found in the city of Pogradec, the above two citizens, with their vehicles type “Jeep” and “Benz”, providing assistance to 11 illegal immigrants, who had been promised transport in exchange for a reward in the direction of Tirana and then towards EU countries.
The materials in their charge were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Pogradec Judicial District for the criminal offense “Assistance in illegal border crossing”, committed in collaboration.
