Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin again provoked by claiming that the massacre of Albanian civilians in the village of Recak in Kosovo in 1999 was “a big lie and a terrible forgery”.
After a visit to an area near Nis, where a series of events are being filmed in the village of Recak, Vulin said that “the claim of the massacre is a great insult to all humanity.”
The massacre, in which Serbian forces killed 45 Albanian civilians in January 1999, was one of the decisive moments for the launch of NATO bombing against Serbian army targets on March 24, 1999.
“NATO aggression began after a terrible lie about Recak. At the time, we were neither capable nor smart enough to tell the whole world what a horrible lie it was. The task of this generation is to show the whole world that they bombed us and made us criminals thanks to lies, and the blood of our children is on those who invented this lie“, Said the Serbian minister, according to whom Serbs” will never allow others to write about them “.
Following the Recak massacre, the then head of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, William Walker, who also visited the scene, declared that a “crime against humanity” had taken place.
