The Orgocka Bridge, a first-class cultural monument connecting the two sides of the Osum River in Cologne, is so amortized that crossing it is dangerous.
For 100 inhabitants of Mollas, autumn and winter bring difficulties as the river level rises and crossing the centuries-old bridge becomes frightening. The Orgocka Bridge is a three-vaulted ridge bridge. It has a semicircular window and dates back to the early 19th century, but in addition to endangering the lives of residents who have to pass through it, it is also in danger of losing its values. Residents say that 5 years ago a part collapsed and from that moment it has not been repaired.
In January 2018, due to heavy rains, there were large floods, which resulted in the collapse of part of the Orgocka Bridge. In addition to the risk of losing this cultural monument, it is imperative to make the traffic connection on both sides of the Osum River, as this is the only bridge in that area.
