The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has invited all citizens to come to the capital on July 28 to celebrate the opening of negotiations with the European Union and the 100th anniversary of relations with the USA.
As he calls it a historic year for Albanians, Veliaj promises a super concert with the best names of Albanian music and many surprises in Skënderbej Square.
“The year of the opening of negotiations for membership in the European Union is a historic year for us Albanians – a step closer to the big European family, where we belong. But this year, on July 28, also marks a historic moment for the relationship we have with our great ally: the 100th anniversary of our special bond with the United States of America. Take the family and come on July 28, at 19:00, to “Skënderbej” Square, to celebrate together these two great events for Albanians and Albania, in a fantastic concert with the best names of our music”writes Veliaj on social networks.
We remind you that Tirana is this year and the 2022 European Youth Capital.
