A young girl is killed and her body dismembered in an apartment above a fast-food store after being seduced by a stranger one late evening.
Azam Mangori, 24, had seduced 32-year-old late Lorraine Cox, who was returning home after being at a bar with her friends in Exeter, southern Britain.
Yesterday in court it was revealed how Mangori had sex with Lorraine in an alley before taking her to his room.
He then killed her and dismembered her body into seven pieces, which he had kept for several days in the apartment.
Mangori, of Kurdish origin from Iraq, has admitted to cutting off Lorraine’s arms and legs and then dismembering her body parts, but denies the murder.
In court it was said that Lorriane had been drinking with her friends on the evening of a day off last August.
She had started walking home around 1.00pm when she had opened up with Mangori, who was also walking down the street.
Lorraine, who reportedly was in a relationship with another woman, was subsequently declared missing by her father.
Mangori had used her cell phone pretending to be the girl, to make others believe she was still alive, the court was told.
Prosecutor Simon Laws said: “Her whereabouts have not been known for a week by friends and family. But the truth was that she had been killed by the accused. “They had not known each other before, but he took advantage of her alcohol-related condition and had a sex episode with her in an alley near Sidwell Street.”
“He then took her to the room where she lived on a kebab shop and killed her there.”
“He cut her body into seven pieces and threw them away.”
The court was told that some body parts were found in the trash near the kebab shop, while other pieces the killer had kept at home.
Mangori’s mobile phone had been found with photos showing parts of the victim’s leg and body mutilation.
The prosecutor said: “Mangori had taken to the streets as a predator to see what he could find. When he saw Lorraine Cox alone and intoxicated, he seduced her in his own ways. “Lorraine Cox preferred mostly girls but sometimes had relationships with men.”
In court it was said that Mangori used the false name Christopher Mayer when he first came to Britain.
The trial continues.
