The father in Kharkiv prayed for two hours over his son’s lifeless body, says Ukraine’s ambassador to the US
As Russian bombing continues to rain down on Ukrainian cities, Ukraine’s ambassador to the US, Oksana Markarova, recently revealed the death of a 13-year-old boy in Kharkiv.
Next to the painful photo, she wrote that the boy’s father stood for two hours over the dead body and prayed constantly.
“Ukrainian father holding the hand of his 13-year-old son killed by Russian bombing today in Kharkiv. His sister is injured. The father read prayers over his son for two hours. Three people were killed after the attack. We must stop criminal and terrorist Russia now.” Markarova wrote on Twitter, according to CNN.
The boy’s sister was also injured by the shelling, while her health status is still unknown.
