The counting of all votes from the parliamentary elections of February 14 ended in Kosovo on Wednesday afternoon, announced the spokesman of the Central Election Commission, Valmir Elezi.
“At this moment, the counting of votes from outside Kosovo has been completed,” Elezi wrote in a Facebook post.
Based on the preliminary results, Lëvizja Vetëvendosje won the elections, followed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
According to current projections, Vetëvendosje will hardly be able to form the new Government of Kosovo alone, as it needs 61 votes. But some of the non-majority community parties, excluding the Serb List, have expressed willingness to co-operate.
