A 27-year-old man tried to kill himself with a blanket in the detention rooms of Korca.
At the time of the attempt to hang himself, it was detected by the service employee, who intervened immediately.
Citizen AM, 27 years old, a resident of Tirana, was arrested the day before as a suspect for the criminal offense of “Aiding illegal border crossing”.

On 15.07.2022, around 13:05, at the Korçë Police Station, in the detention rooms, citizen AM, 27 years old, resident in Tirana, who was arrested the day before as a suspect for the criminal offense “Aiding for illegal border crossing”.
At the time of the attempt to hang himself, it was detected by the service employee, who intervened immediately.
Currently, the AM citizen is out of danger for life. The investigative team is working to clarify the circumstances of the event.
