Fede Valverde’s partner, Mina Bonino, has opened up about the trauma the couple suffered when they were robbed while on holiday in Ibiza last month.
Bonino claims that they were involuntarily under the influence of drugs or alcohol and robbed him of around 10,000 euros.
“We were told that the food might have been poisoned by the chef, so they took us to the hospital for substance analysis,” Bonino confessed on Instagram.
“When we arrived at the house, the cook was there, he told me at that moment that he only had one key and that he would take it with him, so that the next morning we could have breakfast without disturbing us. The next day I couldn’t even get up. I texted Leslie to take my son because there was nothing I could do.”
“I felt really bad, but I thought it was because I’m a bit fuzzy and I’m in a very bad physical condition. Within an hour I go downstairs and see my three suitcases in the living room. There were my flip flops lying around and Leslie was fixing everything.”
“She said to me: Were you looking for something? Since I wasn’t sober yet, I must have laughed, I didn’t understand anything. When we were about to leave for the beach, I said: I’ll get some money. I opened the wallet and saw that it was empty.”
Tests would show if she had cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, amphetamines or antidepressants in her blood, but she tested negative for everything. Fede Valverde and Mina Bonino were forced to relocate after the unfortunate incident and security was tightened as they stayed in Ibiza for another two weeks.
