The march towards the Martyrs of the Nation boulevard has started, where the protest called by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is expected to start. “Albania in danger”, is the motto chosen to protest.
The speech podium was set up in the square in front of the prime minister’s office, where some of the protestors started shooting in the direction of the tomato building.
The former prime minister himself arrived at the PD headquarters around 19:00, where he held a meeting with the democratic deputies, his supporters, before heading to Dëshmorët e Kombit boulevard.
The citizens gathered in the protest, hold banners against the government in their hands, while the chants continue in the chorus: ‘We love Albania like all of Europe’.
So a significant number of effectives are on the ground for the smooth progress of the protest, while in the prime minister’s building the doors, as in every protest, are “armored” with sheet metal.
