Carlos Sainz has won for the first time in his career a Formula 1 race, more precisely the British Grand Prix, at the Silverstone track, this is a historic moment for the Ferrari pilot. The podium was completed by Perez in second place and Hamilton, who took third place.
Race 10 started with a major shock with 5 cars involved in a freak accident at the start of the race, with Alfa Romeo driver Zhou ending up with his car overturned outside the guard wall, but luckily the Chinese escaped without serious injuries.
After confirming the condition of the Alfa Romeo driver, the race started again and in the end it was Carlos Sainz who finished the race first, followed by Perez and Hamilton.
While Verstappen was unlucky in the British Grand Prix, as the Belgian had a tire problem and consequently lost a lot of time and ended this race in seventh place.
Charles Leclerc finished the race in fourth place, while Alonso was ranked behind the Ferrari driver. While the Albanian-born Williams pilot, Nicolas Latifi, finished the British Grand Prix in 12th place.
With this victory Carlos Sainz becomes the 112th Formula 1 driver to win a race, the 40th Ferrari driver to win a race and the second Spanish driver after Alonso to win an F1 race.
