The Association of Nurses of Albania raises the concern that the health system in our country is in crisis for personnel.
In a post published on social networks, the association says that many hospitals, including private ones, have a shortage of specialists and nurses.
According to the association, the Ministry of Health is calling retired doctors to join the services.
Based on this situation, the Association of Nurses of Albania calls for the regulation of the evaluation policies of medical holidays.
“Albania is in crisis for health personnel with a large shortage of doctors and nurses.
Just as the Association of Nurses of Albania had predicted that Albania will collapse for health personnel, so it is happening. Many hospitals, both state and private, have a large shortage of specialist doctors and nurses.
As if this was not enough in the last few days, the Ministry of Health to meet the needs for staff in the Summer Health Centers is calling and asking the retired doctors to be part of these services.
Why then, when we raise real concerns, they come up with all kinds of excuses or often falsifying the figures declared by us about the mass departures of doctors and nurses from Albania, and today this reality is revealed where the Ministry does not want to be found out that there are no doctors and nurses please retire staff to join to serve.
When will awareness be raised to adjust the appropriate employment and evaluation policies of the medical staff before Albania becomes a monopoly of a group of politicized doctors and nurses who have turned the workplace or any other position into their property, making nurses and doctors able to leave Albania. Do I have to turn my eyes to the Ministry from other countries to meet the needs for medical staff in the country??? You haven’t seen anything yet… because now it’s too late to stop this hemorrhaging in Health”. said in response.
