144 soldiers were released from Russian prisons this Thursday, exchanging with Russian captives in Ukraine.
Among the released soldiers were 95 people protecting Mariupol steel workers, Ukraine’s military intelligence agency said.
The BBC writes that there is still no comment from Russia on an exchange of prisoners.
But the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic in eastern Ukraine said it had secured the release of 144 soldiers, including its own fighters and those of the Russian army.
