An amount of explosives exploded around 22.45 in Saranda.

The explosive was placed at the entrance of the garage of a hotel owned by Mariel Murati, currently director of the Health Insurance Fund in Saranda.

This is the second time that the hotel owned by Mr. Murati has been attacked with explosives.

In February 2021 a trityl explosion at the entrance of his hotel caused material damage and injured several passers-by. Mr. Murati has previously held the post of director of ALUIZNI, in Saranda.
