DPSHTRR Task Force goes into action with Fiks proposing to revoke the company’s license
From some complaints received in the editorial office of the show Fiks Fare that the schedule was not respected for the intercity lines Tirana – Durrës and vice versa.

It was seen that there were some passengers at the station waiting to travel, but there was no bus. Although most of the passengers have come to Tirana for aunts, the biggest worry starts when they have to return to Durrës. Fiksi waited with a gentleman at the terminal for about 1 hour and the passenger did not find not only the bus no and no but also the occasional car to travel.
Many passengers knew that there are no buses in the terminal, although the table shows that the last one departs from Tirana to Durrës at 21:30. They had come out to the roundabout looking for random cars so they could travel. the lack of intercity transport had forced these passengers to come together to bill the taxi, in order to split the payment between them.
In these conditions, Fiksi asks the drivers of this line why they do not leave after 19:00 for Durrës as they have the license. They say that it was not convenient for them to leave with 20 people on the bus, as it is not convenient for them.
Fiksi contacted the president of the Albanian Passenger Transport Association, who told them over the phone that these schedules have remained such since the pandemic. Although all measures have been lifted in relation to the pandemic, the timetable of the intercity line Tirana – Durrës has remained the same. Mayor Shpëtim Vrioni confirmed that this line was owned by Elalba1 shpk. Fiksi searched the offices of this company, but did not find them and returned to the terminal to ask, but the drivers were not given any info regarding this company.
In these conditions, Fiks Fare addressed the Tax Force in MEI. Who together with Fiks came out for control. Taks Force after the checks made found that Elalba1 shpk had several points that violated the license, not just non-compliance with the schedule. As a result, they told Fiks that they would propose that this company be deprived of its license, as there were violations of many repeated points.
We hope that the other company will respect the license points and the intercity bus service will be offered to the passengers at the set times.
