The mother of a young British man, whose body was found following the suggestions of a ‘telepathic healer’ in the US, says she is convinced that her son did not kill himself.
The father of two children Alex Holland, 27, was discovered upside down in a puddle of water by a strolling dog, three months after he disappeared.
His mother Rachel Holland, 50, believes Alex would never have killed himself.
She says she spoke with psychiatrist Mary Lawton Johnson – who lives more than 6,000 miles away in California – who said she had “made a telepathic connection” with her son after seeing him on a street corner. ”.
The mediator, who has never been to Britain, says she had started to have visions of the young man face down in the water.
Mary says she sent 12 emails to the police and the husband’s family, clarifying maps of the water areas where she should be searched.
But police had refused to search the areas suggested by Mary until Alex’s body was found, his mother Rachel says.
She says Alex only had one shoe when his body was found, while the other was found a few feet away from the car he rented, more than 2km away in Kent, east of Britain.
So far investigations and autopsies still can not confirm the cause of death of the 27-year-old.
As the visionary Mary says: “I am glad that the case is an open verdict and can be investigated at any time. “I feel numb, I feel like I lost my son forever.”
“I sincerely believe that my son was killed.
“He was found in the water but there is no water in his lungs. “I believe he was dead when he was placed there.”
At the time of his death Alex was living with his parents after being separated from his wife.
His mother Rachel last saw him on November 28 when he asked him to wake his father in the morning as he had to go to the dentist.
When contacted by a family friend, healer Mary sent Rachel emails and a map detailing the location of Alex’s body, indicating that he had been killed.
Rachel says: “I told these to the police from the beginning, but the police did not believe me”
Kent police say they have conducted extensive investigations into Alex’s death but many details of the case remain a mystery.
