The political leader of the Socialist Party for the Tirana Region, Erion Veliaj, from Dajti, where he held a meeting with the structures of this political force, said that the territorial reform, which is best embodied in the surrounding areas, proves today that it was a decision of successful.
This is because, as he said, the union made possible that investments which, a former municipality would take decades to realize themselves, today have affected every unit, improving the quality of life for residents, but also giving more property value.
“If it were a separate municipality, Krraba would have to collect taxes for 67 years until it had enough revenue to make the road; It would take Zall-Herr 50 years to build the aqueduct – but many things we have finished today, such as the new Zall-Herr neighborhood, which we will open to those affected by the earthquake; the road to Zall-Bastar would like 72 years to be done with Zall Bastar taxes. That decision that many of us embraced as a philosophy of our party, turned out to be a winning bet. “Today I am glad that, in many of our villages, I meet people who have bought a property and spend their income in that area,” said Veliaj.
Regarding the elections in the Socialist Party, Veliaj said that we must prepare for the next battles, which, as he stressed, we no longer have with our opponents, but with ourselves.
“Do you think that we are united here today to the anger of Sali and Ilir? But how can you be angry with a party, be jealous of a party or have a race with a party that, once the husband has, once the wife has? It is like being in a rage with a neighborhood store that, once you open one shutter, once you open the other. We are not here because we hate them. We are not here because we have a non-woman at the head of the opposition. On the contrary, it hurts us that it would be good to have an opposition, but today we are in a ridiculous situation. The whole coalition of non-women is fighting to burn down their house. They take their house, setting it on fire. Meanwhile, when it makes elections the Socialist Party is a completely different thing. People look at the Socialist Party as a serious group that not only knows how to create harmony, cooperation, love within their family, but it is likely that it projects this kind of spirit on other families as well. People say: those who fix their house, will also build my earthquake house. Those who take care of their family will take care of my family as well. “Those who set fire to their house, what will they do to my house?” He joked.
Veliaj called on all the socialists of Dajti, Kërraba, Shëngjergji, Zall Bastari and Zall Herri to work for the community, unlike the party of Lalzi residents, who use people and remember them only in the campaign.
