35 citizens have been confirmed infected with coronavirus from 165 tests performed during the last 24 hours in the country.
The number of positive cases is lower than the previous days, but at the same time the number of tests has decreased significantly. The day before, out of 595 tests performed, 139 citizens were found to be infected.
According to the Ministry of Health, there are 22 new cases in Tirana, 4 in Durrës, 3 in Peqin, 2 citizens in Lushnjë, Pogradec, 1 citizen in Himara, Korça.
Currently, there are 685 active citizens with Covid 19 nationwide. Meanwhile, 9 patients are receiving treatment at COVID3 hospital. In the last 24 hours there is no loss of life with Sars-Cov2.
141 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 273,262 since the beginning of the epidemic.
The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others. AntiCovid vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities. Every citizen over 12 years old can be vaccinated in health centers.
MSHMS appeals to all citizens vaccinated with two doses, to go to health centers or concentrated vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third boosting dose.
Citizens over the age of 60 and those with weakened immunity, who have passed 4-6 months after taking the third dose, can get the fourth dose of the anti-Covid vaccine, as recommended by the family doctor.
