President Vjosa Osmani recalled the survivors of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo.
On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence during the war, she said that efforts to bring perpetrators to justice will never stop.
“We stand together, today and forever, with the thousands of women and men who survived the sexual violence during the war in Kosovo, who went through the horror of the crimes of the genocidal regime of Milosevic.
They continue to boldly present the truth and have turned pain into power, thus becoming our heroines.
“On the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence during the War, we remind you that our efforts to bring the perpetrators of this horrific crime to justice will never stop,” Osmani wrote on Facebook.
