With the exception of Emiliano Shullazi who is being treated at the Prison Hospital, 6 other prisoners who all in the harsh 41 biss regime in Tirana claim that the state is treating them inhumanely.
Their lawyers stated that the clients have gone on hunger strike, but this information is not confirmed by the General Directorate of Prisons. So far it is accepted that Eldi Çala, Klement Cala, Redjan Rraja, Viktor Ymeri, Fatmir Pjetri and Arbëer Çekaj have simultaneously requested five days ago to review the conditions in the cells where each is kept isolated.
The other request is related to sending a TV and refrigerator, to enrich the food diet and to meet with family members 4 times a month. But in the harsh regime 41 biss all are forbidden, with the exception of books which are also checked by the prison library. Quite unlike other prisoners who are allowed food by relatives, considered the most dangerous by the SPAK are forced to consume meals cooked in prison cells such as eggs, tea, pilaf or meat and milk. But what can be considered on the verge of a scandal, is the question: how is it possible that these 6 prisoners who are thought to be maximally isolated, got along with each other?
The Directorate of Prisons is considering considering this as an incident to be recorded in the prisoner card, but this does not explain anyway what responsibility the authorities have that allowed, incidentally or unintentionally, this incident to occur.
Copied from the Italian model against the bosses of Cosa Nostra, currently in cells 41 biss in Peqin and near 313, are held 10 prisoners and detainees where in addition to the seven in Tirana, there are other names such as Aleksander Llanaj, Arbjon Aliko and Genci Balla. The fact that the 6 prisoners who have declared a simultaneous strike are all in prison 313, narrows the possible investigative circle of this incident in the most isolated and guarded institution in the country.
