The Prosecution of the Fier Judicial District, completes the investigation and sends for trial the defendant Klodian Çalamani accused of the criminal offenses “Sexual or homosexual intercourse with a minor with violence” and “Murder in other qualifying circumstances against a minor”.
Preliminary investigations proved that on 16.11.2021 MV’s father filed a criminal report around 14:58 after being informed by phone by his wife that the minor boy did not come to the apartment and his whereabouts were unknown, giving both the characteristics of the child and his clothing.
Immediately after the criminal report is received No.1262the services of the Fier Police Commissariat, went to the village of Grecalli, where they performed verifications and territorial control.
The bicycle used by the victim was identified and it turned out that one of them was owned by the suspect K. Çalamani, a resident of this village, who had the apartment about 100m away from the minor’s apartment.
During the search of the apartment, a piece of arable land was found, where after excavation, the lifeless body of the victim was found. In these conditions, the suspect K. Çalamani was handcuffed and escorted.
In the analysis of all the evidence gathered, it turns out that the defendant, before committing the criminal offense of “Murder in qualifying circumstances against a minor” provided by Article 79 letter “a”, initially consumed the criminal offense of “Relationship sexual or homosexual violence with minors, provided by Article 100/2 of the Criminal Code. After committing the homosexual act with violence against the juvenile, the defendant Klodian Çalamani, committed the murder with hard objects, a pickaxe and a shovel.
