The grandparents of Elena Del Pozzo, the five-year-old girl who was found dead after being stabbed to death by her mother, have spoken out about the heinous crime.
The grandmother from the father Rosaria Testa, amid the pain for the loss of her granddaughter, has expressed that she had believed the fabricated story that the little girl had been kidnapped by three people with a hood. She has told a case where she saved Elena from her mother’s hands while she was beating her. She said the girl’s mother, Martina Patti, was authoritarian and she decided when the little girl would meet her grandparents.
“One day her mother was beating her and we had to take her out of her arms. That morning I took her to school and told her “no one loves you more than me”. She looked at me and made it clear that she understood what I had said. The mother had an authoritarian attitude, she decided when to bring the child to us“, Said the grandmother before the authorities.
Giovanni Del Pozzo, the girl’s grandfather has indicated that Martina was a closed type.
“We do not understand how such a thing was possible, the kidnapping was unthinkable, who could have imagined what happened? The mother was a very closed type. Now anyone who has made such a gesture has to pay”.
Elena Del Pozzo, the five-year-old girl who went missing on Monday in the Etneo Tremestieri (Catania), was found dead. Martina Patti, the mother of the 5-year-old killed and buried in Catania has admitted the crime before the Italian police. The 23-year-old confessed that she was the one who killed the girl without giving details about the reason or the way she committed the crime.
Police found the body of the little girl on a farm a few hundred meters away from the house where the woman previously lived with her ex-partner and the father of the child, Alessandro Nicodemo Del Pozzo, 24 years old.
Elena Del Pozzo disappeared on Monday at the etneo Tremestieri. The mother of the little girl has confessed where the body of the child was, after the pressure exerted during the interrogation by the investigators.
