Simon Miraka’s candidacy as a member of the Former State Security Files Authority was rejected this Thursday in the Assembly.
The Socialists have decided to reject Miraka’s candidacy after he was proposed in the Assembly with the signature of Sali Berisha and the latter did not withdraw from the supporting firms.
64 deputies voted against, only 17 in favor and one abstained.
We recall that the Socialists have emphasized that no proposal of Berisha in the assembly will be accepted.
In the Law Commission, the Socialists voted for the candidacy of Simon Miraka to be a member of the authority of the files, although among the supporting firms for his name was that of Sali Berisha.
While the deputies who support the line of Enkelejd Alibeaj clarified earlier that they have nothing against the figure of Simon Miraka, but are against the firm that supports him.
