The police operation codenamed “Aosta” is finalized, in the framework of which a person declared internationally wanted was arrested.

In order to extradite, 1 citizen declared internationally wanted for the criminal offense “Participation in a criminal group for the purpose of drug trafficking” is handcuffed.
The services of the Search Section, following the work for the apprehension of persons declared internationally wanted, based on the information provided by the police, made the provisional arrest and detention, in order to extradite to Italy, the citizen:
Lulzim Halili, 42 years old, resident in Tirana.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted, after the Court of Aosta, Italy, sentenced him to 13 years and 4 months in prison, for the criminal offense “Participation in a criminal group for the purpose of drug trafficking.”
Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with the Italian law enforcement authorities, follows the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy.
