Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that he visited the troops in some of the most bombed positions of the front line yesterday.
In his speech overnight, Zelensky said: “We were in Lysychansk and Soledar.”
Both countries have been under heavy Russian attack for weeks, suffering from rocket, missile and air bombardment.
“I am proud of all those I met, shook hands, communicated and supported. I brought something from the military, for you. It’s important: faith and strength. “– said Zelensky.
Earlier Sunday, Zelensky was in the southern city of Zaporizhia, where he said he had met the mayors of several occupied cities.
“I met with the residents of Mariupol who managed to leave the city alive and with children. I met them in Khortytsia. “Conditions are temporary, but not bad,” he said. “Every family had its story, most without men. “Someone went to war, someone went into captivity and someone, unfortunately, died.”
