Naim Bajri, 68, who was executed this morning with a firearm is the father of Endrit Bajri, known as the strongman of Shkodra, who was executed in 2001.
On October 21, 2001, Ilmir Hajdari, together with Xhabir Shegaj and Kujtim Barbullushi, executed Indrit Bajri with a machine gun. Shegaj himself was executed by sniper in 2015 for the murder of Indri Bajri.
At that time, the police discovered that Ilmir Hajdari, during a fierce debate with Indrit Bajri and in a quarrel, had threatened each other. On the day of the event, Ilmiri, after taking Xhabir Shega and Kujtim Barbullushi with him, were traveling in a “Mercedes Benz” car. At the intersection, near the School of Music, Ilmir Hajdari noticed Indrit Bajri shooting in his direction.
Xhabir Shega and Kujtim Barbullushi also shot Bajri, causing his immediate death.
In connection with this event, Ilmir Hajdari was sentenced to 16 years in prison. The latter was arrested in 2009, but after 4-5 years he was released declaring in the courtroom that he is not the perpetrator of Bajri’s murder.
