Journalist Çim Peka, invited to “Top Talk”, spoke about the abolition of the Democratic Party’s right to vote in the European People’s Party.
Peka considers the representation of this party in the PPE at the lowest levels, while so far there is still no official invitation.
“It is not represented with the highest levels, in fact it is not represented at all. There is no invitation from the popular parties, there is no party from PP “said the journalist.
According to him, the current situation in the Democratic Party has affected the non-inclusion of the European People’s Party, based on the non grata that Sali Berisha has.
“Until they take legal action, they do not want to interfere in this internal situation of the Democratic Party, which in a way is more than logical. “What does not seem logical to me is not on the part of the People’s Party, but it seems to me on the part of the Democratic Party, which must share the mind is the conservative party or the center-right party alliance with non women”, tha Peka.
At the same time he considered this instability of the Democratic Party as a turmoil that has been seen for 32 years.
“DP must share the mind, if it will be a conservative party let it be a conservative party and it has a orientation towards European conservatives. “If it will be both center-liberal and right-wing, it will be this turl that we have seen in 32 years”, said Peka.
The journalist considers the left as extreme, which is criminal and resembles the Albania of 1946.
“One of the main problems of pluralism in Albania is that we have an extreme left, in fact it is more, we have a criminal left for me. “We have a left with a criminal behavior, not only extreme, which in foreign policy is identical with the Albania of ’46”, he said.
Peka considered the position of the right for the first time in front of Lenin, based on the fact that Sali Berisha is non grata.
As for the opposition leader, he considered him the spoiler of embassies, which led the Democratic Party to that state.
“When we had an opposition leader, we saw a spoiler of embassies where the DP went. We tried where we end up with embassy slingshots. “Votes are taken here, say real things, Albanians should believe, do not say real things and do not believe”, said Peka.
The Democratic Party after seven years of full membership in the largest European political group, it lost the right to vote to elect the new leaders of the European People’s Party.
Despite the lack of an official invitation from the European People’s Party, 3 Democrat MPs traveled to Rotterdam: Jorida Tabaku as part of the delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Albana Vokshi as part of the delegation of the European Women’s Group and Belind Këllici from the youth forum .
