Lezha became the host country of the national youth wrestling championship.
This competition was attended by 140 athletes from 16 teams that competed in the categories U15 and U17 in this sport discipline in freestyle and Greco-Roman. According to the president of the Albanian Wrestling Federation, Sait Prizreni, a well-known name of this sport in our country, these young wrestlers are seen as the future of the country.
At the end of this championship, the winners were announced and on the Greco-Roman bench in the U15 triumphant category, the team of Teuta resulted, while for the U17, Tirana triumphed. In terms of freestyle, here for Tirana U17 triumphant came out while in the U15 category the winner was the team of Kukes.
