A superyacht of more than milionë 6 million has suddenly burst into flames today in a popular tourist port in the south of Britain, leaving people stranded in piers.
Black plumes of smoke rose over the southern town of Torquay as wild flames engulfed the 30-foot-long luxury boat.
Some of the locals were reported to have been stranded at the port crossings as firefighters rushed to put out the blaze.
Local media reported that the boat ropes had caught fire before the vehicle itself detached coming out of the harbor waters and burning.
Three fire engines were at the scene but due to the departure of the yacht in the water they had difficulty fighting the flames, wrote the local network Devon Live.
It was not yet known if there were any injuries or what was the cause of the accident.
The stunned audience described the look as a “fireball”.
