The assembly of the World Health Organization has voted to condemn Russia’s actions in Ukraine, which, according to her, have led to a health emergency.
The resolution was approved by 88 votes in favor and 12 against, with 53 abstentions, said the chairman of the meeting, Hiroki Nakatani, causing constant applause from the supporters of the resolution.
WHO Annual Assemblies make decisions by consensus.
A parallel proposal submitted by Russia, which mimics the language of the original, has not yet been voted on by member states.
