The Police Oversight Agency says it is verifying whether there was a leak, during the operation conducted by the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime and the State Police, following suspicions of leaks.
The notice states that any suspicion of possible leakage of information by police officers, as well as any involvement, if any, in illegal activities will be investigated with the utmost seriousness.

The Police Oversight Agency (AMP) is verifying any suspicion if there has been a leak of information, during the operation conducted by the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime and the State Police, in the framework of criminal proceedings no. 75/2022, through which were assigned and executed the personal security measures of the coercive character “Prison arrest” for 32 citizens, among them a police officer.
At the end of this operation, the Police Oversight Agency assures the public and the media that it will investigate with the utmost seriousness any suspicion of possible leakage of information by police officers, as well as any involvement, if any, in illegal activities.
