According to him, Kosovo needs more agencies, funds and UN programs to help the country and this is not done by the Security Council.

“The beginning was good, the performance of the team, the Albanian foreign policy, came out elevated. This team and colleagues in the ministry, has made us increase the authority of the country our foreign policy, and surprise that a small country has a quality that perhaps many did not expect. We will try to keep this from increasing and also investing as a contribution to our European credentials.

EU countries today are at the historical low they have been, Ireland and France. Albania’s record is indisputable. We will try to make this performance of Albania a good, long-term and convincing investment for our precedents, for our ability to be an honest player and to be part of European thought and action, also through the Security Council. We will try during these two years for the image of Albania as a whole, the seriousness with which we have worked, to influence us to feel good, to feel proud and to be traceable. We want to leave a mark and we have started to leave a mark.

We want as little Kosovo as possible in the Security Council and as much Kosovo as possible in the UN, because Kosovo today is no longer a matter of peace and security, which is the reason for the existence of this roundtable. Kosovo needs more UNICEF, funding agencies and programs to help the country, society and this is not what the Security Council does.
