A patient and the nurse who accompanied him were injured around 23:30, in the “Mother Teresa” hospital in Tirana, after the elevator they were traveling in suffered a defect.
With the intervention of the fire brigade, it was possible to open the elevator, while both are in the hospital, under the care of doctors.
The cause of the incident and the condition of the two injured are still unknown.

On 15.05.2022, around 23:30, in the “Mother Teresa” hospital, on the -1 floor, the barrel citizen KD, transporting with a stretcher the citizen VC, patients in the hospital, due to a defect were blocked inside the elevator.
With the intervention of the fire brigade, it was possible to open the elevator. Citizen KD and the patient, citizen VC, were injured and are in hospital, under the care of doctors. The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
