Former member of the Albanian Parliament, Nikolle Lesi, invited to “Top Talk” spoke about the rivalry of the parties for the presidential candidacy.
Lesi considers the opposition divided, which according to him should come up with a candidate to challenge the majority and Edi Rama, mainly with an extraordinary political figure.
According to Lesi, all the actions that the opposition is doing are in favor of Rama, who knows the name of the next president or president.
He also made some claims regarding the Socialist Party candidacy, where the former MP said that it could be a woman who will win.
“She may be the first female president in Albania. I know that Rama has closed the election of the president“, Said Lesi.
The former MP said that the opposition is in a miserable state, destroyed and fragmented, making it difficult to come to power in the face of Rama.
“If the opposition would issue a challenging name, Rama could stop at the name he has in mind. The opposition today is divided and destroyed for me denigrated. I was an open supporter of the opposition until April 25, I did it with conviction. “I have tried to be on the side of the opposition since 1991 and in many positions I have been pro-opposition.”he said.
Lesi says that it is necessary to create a new opposition to react and if this is not realized Edi Rama will continue his power.
“I can say that if the opposition does not come up with a candidate, it has lost that this is also a political game. “I am sorry to say that a normal country does not have an opposition to represent and lead the crowds.”further added
