Also, a street naming ceremony was held in the district of Kukës, with the names of Kukës Police Martyrs, Selim Halili, Ramadan Hilaj and Shkëlzen Dobrushi.

“Today, on this marked day, day of remembrance, we have gathered to honor the life and contribution given during the police career, by the 3 Martyrs of the State Police, Selim Halili, Ramadan Hilaj and Shkëlzen Dobrushi, who, with the spirit of sacrifice and the self-denial that characterized them, did not even spare their lives, to protect the lives of citizens and to guarantee public order.
To honor and glorify the sacrifice of the Martyrs, with the initiative of the General Director of the State Police, in cooperation with the Municipality of Kukës, 3 streets will be named in the district of Kukës, with the names of the Martyrs of the State Police, Selim Halili, Ramadan Hilaj and Shkëlzen Dobrushi.
The naming of the street in the village of Bicaj, with the name of the State Police Martyr Selim Halili and of the two streets in the new neighborhood, the city of Kukës, with the names of the State Police Martyrs Ramadan Hilaj and Shkëlzen Dobrushi, is an act of citizenship, support for the Police organization, as well as for expressing gratitude to the families of the Martyrs.
This process of naming the streets with the names of other Martyrs of the State Police, I hope that, even with the support of other municipalities in the district, will continue, as it will be an added value and pride for their families, but also for the whole community. ”
