“Dear friends! Yesterday I was introduced to the decision of a self-elected Election Commission without a decision of the National Council as an elected body, which announced the procedures for the elections for Chairman of the DPA!
Since a few months ago I announced my will to run for President of the DPA, I find that: 1) The Election Commission is anti-statutory; 2) the deadline for “primary” of 2 weeks is the same as the deadline set by Lul Brava last June, leaving no time for candidates to campaign; 3) in this Commission there are the same members from those who stole votes for Lul Braven making this process just as incredible; 4) there is again no transparency for the DPA membership lists; 5) the candidates were not asked about the composition of the Commission, according to the principle of Comrade Stalin “the people vote, we count the votes”; 6) elections are being held while the DP is divided worse than 1 year ago!
The only thing that differs from the stolen elections on June 13 with those of May 22 is that we are moving from “Lul Brava” to “Doctor Dryni”!
Unfortunately, the Democratic Party and the Democrats have been mocking and trampling on them for at least 5 years, depriving them of free debate, free vote and representation!
The propaganda of December 11 for “primary” and “sovereignty” vote turned out to be only propaganda, disappointing for several times the honest democrats and the public opinion!
For these reasons, I decided not to be part of this ugly election farce by withdrawing from the candidacy for Chairman of the DPA with the regret of someone who has been fighting for 5 years for real democratization of the DPA and not usurping the chair of the Chairman and local and central structures !
With the hope that the DPA Parliamentary Group as the only legitimate body will make maximum efforts to bring the party out of the worst crisis in 32 years of history, I remain with the hope that there is still a future for the opposition!
I wish the Election Commission and the self-appointed Chairman “success in life” and the Democrats patience and trust in the restoration of democracy in the Democratic Party!
