Places targeted by the protesters included banks, real estate agencies, insurance companies and international corporate restaurants.

Turkish police detained dozens of demonstrators in Istanbul, removing them from the march, which the governor’s office said was illegal.
In France more than 200,000 people took part in the demonstrations while in Paris as young people quickly became violent by vandalizing targeted facilities.
Ministers denounced the violence in Paris where prosecutors said 50 people were arrested.
Martine Hachoun, a 65-year-old retired doctor, said she had come to Marseille to protest the re-election of Emmanuel Macron.
“We did not give him a white check for five years,” she said, adding that many had voted for Macron only to stop right-wing challenger Marine Le Pen.
