Kosovo Mufti Naim Tërnava in the message of the feast of Eid al-Fitr, said that Muslims pray for peace, understanding, harmony and solidarity in the world.
“We pray and commit that peace, understanding, harmony and solidarity reign in the world. On this blessed night we are required to appreciate the mission of man in this world, maintaining a balance between the spiritual and the material. In the time we are living, humanity seems to have forgotten the spiritual values, thus making the society more materialistic, a reality that has brought conflicts, bloodshed, expulsions, destructions on earth. Even on this night on the eve of Eid al-Fitr, when we are preparing to celebrate, in many parts of the world humanity is going through difficult days of unrest and conflict, from which innocent citizens are suffering. Our Creator loves peace, loves tranquility, loves well-being and security“, Says Tërnava.
At the end of Ramadan he said that after two years of pandemics, the benefits of this month are being properly enjoyed.
