In the southern part of the Russian city of Belgorod, explosions were heard today which are not known where they came from.
According to Sky News, two witnesses told Reuters that they had heard two explosions in this city, while it is not known if there are any casualties or damage.
The Kremlin has recently reported on a series of attacks by Ukrainian forces in Belgorod and other southern regions bordering Ukraine.
An explosion was heard in the village of Staraya Nelidovka in Belgorod yesterday, where an ammunition depot caught fire.
Earlier this month, Belgorod regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov claimed that a fuel depot had been hit by two Ukrainian military helicopters after they crossed the border with Russia at low altitude.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova today accused the West of openly calling on Kiev to attack Russia and warned it not to test its patience.
