Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde considered Russia’s decision to expel four Swedish diplomats unjustifiable.
In a message on social media, Ms. Linde said that Sweden would respond “appropriately” to the deportations announced today.
“Russia has decided today to expel four Swedish diplomats. Russian action is unjustified and disproportionate. By expelling Western diplomats, Russia is blocking its international isolation. “Sweden will respond appropriately to Russia’s unjustified actions.”said Linde.
According to Sky News earlier this month Sweden expelled three Russian diplomats, while Russia made the same decision today.
