Këlliçi: Rama’s whole attempt is to lead the DP in a chaotic situation by removing its logo and everything so that we are not ready for the municipal elections. I have little interest in how the court decision comes out. In the autumn of this year we have to hold the primaries and launch the campaign in September, 7 months before the elections and I am convinced that we will have a spectacular result because people are eager for change and have a credible candidate. Local elections are vital, despite the difficulties that Edi Rama has introduced us to. As long as Rama feeds the debate in the DP, the other small forces must understand that we have only one opponent, Rama.
Kërpaçi: The SMI will always remain open for cooperation. The SMI has played a decisive role and I believe that for these elections the work should start at a fast pace to return the people to the missing democracy. Our attention will be on having candidates for municipal councils, young and old. The SMI is the only party that had a woman at the helm, although in an electoral system that does not favor it it received 170,000 real votes. We will have young candidates in the next elections as well. In every space we must direct the public discussion to the youth.
