Russia has warned the United States not to send weapons to Ukraine, according to a Moscow ambassador to Washington.
“We do not accept that the United States should send weapons to Ukraine, and we called for an end to this practice.Anatoly Antonov was quoted as saying by Reuters in an interview with Rossiya 24 television channel.
The top Washington diplomat and his defense secretary met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev late Sunday, promising new aid worth more than $ 700 million in support, but did not mention weapons.
