With prayer candles in their hands, symbolizing eternal light, the Orthodox in Lushnja have celebrated Easter.
Hundreds of believers joined the holy mass of the vigil of this feast, which was held in the church of St. George.
After Mass the Christian believers are led to their homes with the light of life and the message Christ is risen. This is the biggest celebration of the liturgical calendar of the Orthodox Church and other churches which celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus.
