The picture shows the horrific moments when a monkey attacks a three-year-old girl who was playing in the street which he tries to pull on a dark street.
The aggressive monkey jumps on the three-year-old’s back in the village near Chongqing in southwest China.
The little one was just playing with a bike on the quiet road, before the monkey grabbed him by the head to pull him on the road where he came from.
Thankfully passers-by saw the abduction scene and followed the monkey until they rescued the child.
The three-year-old reportedly was left with a scratch on her head and certainly with the trauma of the kidnapping by the animal that she will not easily forget.
Local officials said that the monkey in question has carried out other attacks on children, writes the local network Global Times.
The girl’s mother said she was at home cooking. A neighbor then told what had happened to Ms. Liu who checked the event on security cameras.
Police said they were unable to locate the monkey that had come from the mountainous areas near the village.
Forest authorities said such attacks by wild monkeys are rare.
