The majority has announced that it will start today the meetings with the leaders of the parliamentary opposition groups, regarding the consultation process for the new President of the Republic.
Although it has enough votes to elect the new head of state alone, the SP has expressed readiness to hear opposition groups at the table in parliament as well as with civil society.
The first meeting that is expected to be held in the presidency of the Assembly, is the one with civil society, a meeting which is expected to start around 15:00. Further, the parliamentary leader of SP Taulant Balla will receive in a meeting Fatmir Mediu as chairman of the group ‘Alliance for Change’.
