A total of 57 wanted persons were apprehended, of which: 52 nationally wanted and 5 internationally wanted.
33 coded police operations were conducted: “Online sites”, “Pending”, “Speed”, “Transit 3”, “Afternoon”, “Final Game”, “Sakosa”, “Account”, “Green”, “Dealers” , “Double”, “Transit 4”, “Hostage”, “Cheapons”, “Shoshaj”, “Chairs”, “Road Guard 13”, “Road Guard 14”, “Sophistication”, “Intervention”, “Luxury cars” , “Diesel”, “Vullnetari”, “Mesnata”, “Perimetri”, “Hoti”, “Rrethi”, “Monitorët”, “Çinari”, “Maminasi”, “Porti” and “Fati i games” in 2 cases.
To prevent and crack down on the cultivation of narcotic plants, 10 operations were carried out, during which 1 laboratory was used for the cultivation of cannabis, by means of lamps, and hundreds of cannabis seeds were seized.
In the field of illegal possession of weapons, 13 cases were identified and hit and 7 firearms, 2 shotguns, 8 knives, 6 metal gloves, ammunition, etc. were seized.
Also, during the operations, about 3 kg of cannabis, 4 vehicles, 6 mobile phones, gambling monitors, as well as smuggled goods were seized.
2 criminal events were prevented, 18 cases of opposition by police officers were hit and 57 cases of domestic violence were prosecuted.
33 cases of environmental crimes, 9 cases of organizing games of chance and 9 cases of theft of electricity were identified and cracked down on.
In the field of narcotics, 51 cases were identified and hit, while in the field of economic crime, 36 cases were identified and hit.
2 cases of arson were solved, with 2 perpetrators, of which: 1 arrested and 1 prosecuted at large.
Road police:
During this week, 503 driving licenses were suspended, of which: 361 for speeding, 82 for driving under the influence of alcohol or drunk and 60 for driving in the opposite direction.
58 drivers were arrested, out of which: 31 for drunk driving and 27 for driving without a license.
16,207 administrative measures have been imposed and 8 cases of active corruption against employees exercising public functions have been hit.
Border police:
During this week, 11 wanted persons were apprehended, of which 7 in national search and 4 in international search.
12 persons were prosecuted at large for the criminal offense “Illegal border crossing”, 6 persons for “Assistance for illegal border crossing”, 9 for “Forgery of documents”, 2 for Smuggling of goods for which payment is made excise tax ”, 3 for“ Narcotics trafficking ”, 1 person for illegal possession of weapons, as well as 1 other for opposing police employees.
5 cases of bribery were also hit.
