The Albanian flag bearer starts flights to Basel and Zurich from Kukës International Airport “North Wings”.
After a successful season last year, from the same airport to Zurich, this year Air Albania travels for the first time with direct flights to Basel. After London, Athens and Düsseldorf, these two Swiss capitals where many Albanians live and work were their long-awaited destinations.
The addition of new destinations is part of Air Albania’s long-term plans to have an ever-expanding map of the skies where the Albanian flag is present.
Flights to Switzerland started on April 9 and at their inauguration in Basel was present the CEO of Air Albania Mr. Sinan Dilek, who often personally takes care of the promotion of the flag bearer and Albania.
Present at the inauguration were also; Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Switzerland Mr. Ilir Gjoni, Director of Kukes Airport Mr. Ridgers Mema and senior representatives of Basel Airport.
Basel Airport, “EuroAirport” organized the reception for the first 128 passengers, thus marking another success for Air Albania, as the flight was sold at its full capacity.
These flights are another example of how this company stays close to Albanians wherever they are, offering services of excellence at very economical prices.
