He received 408 votes against 24 votes received by the other candidate Aqif Mesi, while he also had 8 invalid votes. Voting based on the principle one member, one vote was welcomed by the members.
In December last year, the chairman of the Democratic Party branch in Fushë Krujë, Agron Loka, was fired by Lulzim Basha, a dismissal that was not accepted by the leader of the Democrats in Fushë-Krujë, who at the time stated that he did not recognize the decision of Basha. Today he was confirmed again at the head of the Democrats of Fushë-Krujë.
