Residents in the besieged Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine will be evacuated by nine trains, Luhansk regional governor Serhiy Gaidai wrote in the Telegram.

He also said that a school and a multi-storey building were bombed early Sunday in the city of Sievierodonetsk in Luhansk.

Gaidai said: Thankfully, there are no casualties.
